Setup and use
- Unbox the laptop, connect the charger and run it on mains power for first start-up; VR performance is always best on mains power.
- Complete Windows setup, then run Windows Update and install the latest NVIDIA graphics driver from NVIDIA or the manufacturer's support app.
- Install your headset's PC software (for example SteamVR, Meta Quest Link, VIVE Hub or PICO Connect) and follow its room-setup wizard.
- Connect the headset: by cable to a USB-C/DisplayPort or Thunderbolt port, or wirelessly over Wi-Fi 6/6E with the PC wired to the router by Ethernet for the most stable stream.
- Run a short VR session to confirm frame rate and stability before deploying the machine to users or a public venue.
Care and maintenance
