Velocity cycling smart glasses: overview

The Velocity cycling smart glasses (model QY-Pro1) are wraparound sport sunglasses with Bluetooth 5.4 audio, a microphone and AI translation, built for riding. The UV400 lenses cut glare and resist wind and grit, and the IPX5 rating covers sweat and rain.

Velocity has the widest choice of cycling lens tints in our range, including a photochromic grey lens that darkens in sun and lightens in shade, useful when a ride goes from open road into forest.

Physical buttons work with gloves on, and dual 55mAh batteries give around 5–6 hours of use with magnetic charging.

AI translation

The Hyper MZT app provides translation when you ride abroad. Translation runs through the free Hyper MZT companion app: you speak, the app on your phone translates, and the translated audio plays through the speakers in the temples. Because the phone does the translating, an internet connection is needed for most language pairs, and accuracy depends on the app and a clear speaking environment.

Compatibility

They pair over Bluetooth with any modern iPhone or Android phone, and also with tablets and laptops that support Bluetooth audio. Translation needs the Hyper MZT app.

Setup and use

1. Charge with the magnetic cable until full.
2. Pair via Bluetooth, then add them in the Hyper MZT app if you want translation.
3. Adjust the fit so the frame sits snugly without pressing on your temples.
4. Use the buttons for volume, tracks and calls while riding.
5. Keep audio at a level where you can still hear traffic.

Care and maintenance

Wipe the lenses with the included microfibre cloth; avoid paper tissues, which can scratch the coating. Keep the charging contacts clean and dry before charging, store the glasses in their bag when not worn, and do not leave them on a car dashboard in direct sun, as heat shortens battery life. Rinse off salt water or heavy sweat with a damp cloth rather than running water, and never submerge them.

Shipping is free on orders worldwide. Orders are prepared and dispatched within 1–3 business days and typically arrive within 4–8 business days in total, with tracking sent by email. Customs or public holidays can occasionally add a few days, and some items ship directly from our supplier.

Returns

You have 14 days from delivery to return the product for a refund, for any reason. It must be new, unused and in its original packaging with all accessories and documents. Contact us at metanexusxr@gmail.com with your order number to start the return. Consumables such as face cushions, foam pads or batteries showing wear cannot be refunded.

Warranty

Headsets and original accessories bought from our store are covered by a 2-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects. If anything goes wrong, email us your order number and a short description or photo and we will handle the claim with you.
