X3 30 m dive case: overview

This dive case is an IPX8-certified housing for the Insta360 X3 that protects the camera down to 30 metres underwater.

Beyond waterproofing it guards against shocks and scratches, and protects against dust and snow on land.

It comes with two anti-fog inserts, a 1/4" thread adapter, a short screw, a tightening wrench and a wrist strap, and carries a 2-year warranty.

Choosing the right 360° camera accessories

Match the accessory to your exact camera model. Batteries, dive cases, lens guards and screen protectors are model-specific: an X3 battery does not fit an X4, and each dive case is shaped for one body. The compatibility line on every product tells you which camera it fits.

Underwater: the cameras themselves are only splash- or shallow-water-proof, so use a dive case for real diving. Standard dive cases (30–40 m) are simpler and cheaper; the invisible dive cases (50 m) are optically designed so the housing seam disappears from the 360° stitch. Always use anti-fog inserts in cold water.

Power and handling: carry at least one spare battery for a full day of shooting, and a multi-battery charger if you rotate several. Invisible selfie sticks vanish from 360° footage because they sit in the stitch line between the two lenses: longer sticks (3 m) give drone-like angles, shorter ones (114–120 cm) are easier to travel with.

Setup and use

1. Insert an anti-fog insert.
2. Place the X3 in the case and close the latch.
3. Test without the camera before the first dive.
4. Rinse in fresh water after use.

Care and maintenance

After every dive rinse the case in fresh water with the latches closed, let it dry fully, and check the seal for sand, hair or damage before the next dive. Replace anti-fog inserts once they are saturated, and do a short test submersion without the camera before the first dive of a trip.

Returns

You have 14 days from delivery to return the product for a refund, for any reason. It must be new, unused and in its original packaging with all accessories and documents. Warranty

Headsets and original accessories bought from our store are covered by a 2-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects. If anything goes wrong, email us your order number and a short description or photo and we will handle the claim with you.
