Choosing AR display glasses

How they work. AR display glasses (also called XR or video glasses) are a wearable screen: they connect by cable to a phone, laptop, handheld or console and show its picture as a large virtual screen floating in front of you. Most do not run apps by themselves; AI glasses with their own assistant are a separate category.

Check your device's video output. The simplest connection is a USB-C port with DisplayPort Alt Mode (most recent laptops, iPhone 15 and later, Steam Deck, many Android flagships). Lightning iPhones, Nintendo Switch in handheld mode and HDMI-only consoles need an adapter or dock.

Key specs. Field of view (FOV) and virtual screen size decide how big the picture looks; brightness matters outdoors; 3DoF lets the screen stay anchored in space as you turn your head; diopter dials or prescription inserts help short-sighted users; electrochromic dimming switches between see-through and cinema darkness.

Care and maintenance

Keep it clean and dry, store it away from direct sunlight and heat, and inspect it for wear before use. Wipe with a soft, dry microfibre cloth; do not use solvents.

Returns

You have 14 days from delivery to return the product for a refund, for any reason. It must be new, unused and in its original packaging with all accessories and documents. Contact us at metanexusxr@gmail.com with your order number to start the return. Consumables such as face cushions, foam pads or batteries showing wear cannot be refunded.

Warranty

Headsets and original accessories bought from our store are covered by a 2-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects. If anything goes wrong, email us your order number and a short description or photo and we will handle the claim with you.
