NexusDrive Core 5 Racing Set: overview

The NexusDrive Core 5 Racing Set is a complete direct drive racing set for PC: 5.5 Nm base, 11-inch wheel, pedals and desk clamp.

The base gives detailed, smooth direct drive steering with customisable driving modes, and the app makes monitoring, settings and presets easy.

The wheel combines a microfibre leather rim with an aluminium frame and face, and the steel two-pedal set is ready for a clutch add-on.

Building a sim racing or flight setup

Base, rim and pedals. In a modular setup the wheel base holds the force feedback motor, the rim clips on with a quick release and the pedals connect to the base or by USB. Rims and pedals must suit your base, and the base decides which platforms are supported.

Direct drive. Direct drive bases attach the rim straight to the motor for the most detailed and strongest feedback. They need a rigid cockpit or a strong desk mount.

Load cell pedals. A load cell brake measures pressure, not travel, like a real car. It is the single upgrade that improves lap-time consistency the most.

Setup and use

1. Clamp the base to the desk.
2. Fit the wheel and pedals.
3. Connect power and USB.
4. Install the configuration software for PC and the mobile app.
