The Babel translator glasses (model E13-C) turn a normal-looking pair of glasses into a hands-free translation and audio device. You talk, the paired app translates, and you hear the result straight from speakers built into the temples, so you can keep eye contact instead of staring at a phone screen.

They are the simplest and lightest translation model in our range: a PC frame with a 100mAh battery and around 12 metres of wireless range. They come with either tinted sunglass lenses for outdoor use or clear anti-blue-light lenses for office and screen work, in black, white, ice blue, pink or green.

Features in detail

Real-time AI translation

Speech is captured by the glasses, translated by the companion app on your phone and spoken back through the temples. That keeps the conversation natural: both people talk normally while you hear the translation privately.

Open-ear speakers and microphone

The speakers sit near your ears without blocking them, so you still hear traffic and people around you. The built-in microphone handles phone calls and voice-assistant requests without taking out your phone.

Two lens types

Choose tinted sunglass lenses for outdoor sun protection, or clear anti-blue-light lenses if you mostly wear them in front of screens. The frame and electronics are identical, so pick by where you will use them most.

Lightweight PC frame

The polycarbonate frame keeps the glasses light enough for all-day wear and tough enough for travel and daily handling.

About 12 m wireless range

The connection holds up to roughly 12 metres from the phone, so you can leave it on a table or in a bag while you move around a room.

Android and iOS support

Babel works with both iPhone and Android phones through the companion app, so a mixed family or team can use the same model.

Compatibility

They pair over Bluetooth with any modern iPhone or Android phone, and also with tablets and laptops that support Bluetooth audio. Translation needs the companion app installed on the phone. The glasses are not prescription frames: if you normally wear glasses, check whether the fit works over or instead of your own lenses before relying on them for driving.

Setup and use

1. Charge the glasses fully with the included cable before first use.
2. Install the companion translation app on your phone and allow microphone and Bluetooth permissions.
3. Switch the glasses on and pair them in your phone's Bluetooth settings, then connect them inside the app.
4. Choose your two languages in the app and start a conversation; speak normally and listen to the translation through the temples.
5. Use them as normal Bluetooth earphones for music and calls when you are not translating.

Care and maintenance

Wipe the lenses with the included microfibre cloth; avoid paper tissues, which can scratch the coating. Keep the charging contacts clean and dry before charging, store the glasses in their bag when not worn, and do not leave them on a car dashboard in direct sun, as heat shortens battery life. Rinse off salt water or heavy sweat with a damp cloth rather than running water, and never submerge them.

Shipping

Shipping is free on orders worldwide. Orders are prepared and dispatched within 1–3 business days and typically arrive within 4–8 business days in total, with tracking sent by email. Customs or public holidays can occasionally add a few days, and some items ship directly from our supplier.

Returns

You have 14 days from delivery to return the product for a refund, for any reason. It must be new, unused and in its original packaging with all accessories and documents. Contact us at metanexusxr@gmail.com with your order number to start the return. Consumables such as face cushions, foam pads or batteries showing wear cannot be refunded.

Warranty

Headsets and original accessories bought from our store are covered by a 2-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects. If anything goes wrong, email us your order number and a short description or photo and we will handle the claim with you.
