This virtual production camera tracking kit (VIVE Mars CamTrack) is an all-in-one camera-tracking system built on SteamVR Tracking 2.0, with setup reduced to a few minutes.

Professional features such as genlock and timecode synchronisation, robust LAN connections and a 7-inch LCD touchscreen make it production-grade.

How to choose the right VR accessory

Check the exact headset model first. VR accessories are rarely universal: a Quest 3 strap does not fit a Quest 3S facial interface slot, a VIVE Pro link box is different from a VIVE Pro 2 link box, and base stations 1.0 and 2.0 cannot be mixed. The compatibility section above lists every headset the part is designed for.

For PC VR connections, confirm your graphics card's outputs (DisplayPort, USB-C with DisplayPort, HDMI) and your USB ports before buying cables, link boxes or wireless adapters. Longer cables add freedom of movement but need careful routing to avoid tripping.

For comfort and hygiene, shared headsets benefit from wipeable silicone or leather-style covers and spare facial interfaces, while battery straps and charging docks make long sessions and quick turnarounds easier.

Setup and use

1. Mount the base stations around the stage.
2. Attach trackers to cameras via Rovers.
3. Connect Rovers to the Mars unit by LAN.
4. Calibrate with the card and sync genlock/timecode.

Care and maintenance

Keep tracking sensors and IR windows clean and free of stickers or tape, charge devices regularly, and update firmware through the companion software to keep tracking accurate.

Returns

You have 14 days from delivery to return the product for a refund, for any reason. It must be new, unused and in its original packaging with all accessories and documents. Contact us at metanexusxr@gmail.com with your order number to start the return. Consumables such as face cushions, foam pads or batteries showing wear cannot be refunded.

Warranty

Headsets and original accessories bought from our store are covered by a 2-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects. If anything goes wrong, email us your order number and a short description or photo and we will handle the claim with you.
