330 mm flat-bottom open GT wheel rim: overview

This 330 mm (13-inch) flat bottom steering wheel rim has an open, GT-style shape that keeps your dash in view and saves weight. Aircraft-grade aluminium spokes and frame give rigidity with low inertia, so force feedback stays clear.

The grips are moulded professional-grade silicone with an anti-slip texture. Being non-porous, they do not absorb sweat, dirt or bacteria, so they stay hygienic and grippy without gloves over long sessions.

A standard 70 mm PCD bolt pattern fits a wide range of button hubs and quick releases for direct drive bases.

Fits most direct drive bases and quick releases through the hub. Compatibility can vary with button box size; ask us if unsure.

Building a sim racing or flight setup

Base, rim and pedals. In a modular setup the wheel base holds the force feedback motor, the rim clips on with a quick release and the pedals connect to the base or by USB. Rims and pedals must suit your base, and the base decides which platforms are supported.

Direct drive. Direct drive bases attach the rim straight to the motor for the most detailed and strongest feedback. They need a rigid cockpit or a strong desk mount.

Load cell pedals. A load cell brake measures pressure, not travel, like a real car. It is the single upgrade that improves lap-time consistency the most.

Setup and use

1. Bolt the rim to your button hub with the 70 mm pattern.
2. Fit the hub to your quick release.
3. Calibrate rotation in your base's software.

Care and maintenance

Wipe the silicone grips with a damp cloth and mild soap. Check the rim bolts occasionally.

Large items such as cockpits, seats and monitor stands can ship in several boxes, customs or public holidays can occasionally add a few days, and some items ship directly from our supplier.

Returns

You have 14 days from delivery to return the product for a refund, for any reason. It must be new, unused and in its original packaging with all accessories and documents. Contact us at metanexusxr@gmail.com with your order number to start the return.

Warranty

Products bought from our store are covered by a 2-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects. If anything goes wrong, email us your order number and a short description or photo and we will handle the claim with you.
