Commercial-grade caster wheels: overview

These caster wheels bolt straight under the base profile of an aluminium cockpit so you can roll the whole rig out of the way, or across the room, without taking it apart.

Each wheel has its own brake to lock the rig in place for racing.

They are commercial grade, carry 60 kg per wheel and come with 10 mm brackets and mounting hardware.

Choosing and building a sim rig

Rigidity first. A cockpit exists so the force your wheel base produces goes into your hands, not into a flexing frame. Direct drive bases need a stiff front mount; aluminium profile rigs (40 mm and 80 mm extrusion with 8 mm slots) are the stiffest and most adjustable, while steel tube rigs are lighter and quicker to assemble.

Driving position. GT position puts you upright with the pedals low; formula position reclines the seat and raises the pedals. Check whether the cockpit, seat bracket and pedal mount allow the position you want.

Plan the extras. Monitor stands, shifter and handbrake mounts, keyboard trays and PC shelves bolt onto most profile rigs. Planning them up front avoids drilling or re-assembling later.

Setup and use

1. Lift one corner of the rig at a time.
2. Bolt a caster under the base profile.
3. Lower the rig and lock the brakes.

Care and maintenance

Keep the wheels free of hair and dust; check the bolts occasionally.

Shipping

Shipping is free on orders worldwide. Orders are prepared and dispatched within 1–3 business days and typically arrive within 4–8 business days in total, with tracking sent by email. Large items such as cockpits, seats and monitor stands can ship in several boxes, customs or public holidays can occasionally add a few days, and some items ship directly from our supplier.

Returns

You have 14 days from delivery to return the product for a refund, for any reason. It must be new, unused and in its original packaging with all accessories and documents. Contact us at metanexusxr@gmail.com with your order number to start the return.

Warranty

Every new product bought from our store has a 3-year legal guarantee from delivery (1 year for refurbished items). If anything goes wrong, email us your order number and a short description or photo and we will handle the claim with you.
