This racing seat cushion set replaces the pads in your NexusSeat GT Elite fibreglass bucket seat with an Alcantara-style finish and supportive PU foam. It is the easy way to refresh a worn seat, or to upgrade the feel and look of a new one, without replacing the shell.

The kit contains 11 individual cushions for the back, base, sides and shoulders, giving balanced support and better pressure distribution on long stints.

The soft-touch, motorsport-inspired surface looks premium in any rig and stays easy to clean.

Choosing and building a sim rig

Rigidity first. A cockpit exists so the force your wheel base produces goes into your hands, not into a flexing frame. Direct drive bases need a stiff front mount; aluminium profile rigs (40 mm and 80 mm extrusion with 8 mm slots) are the stiffest and most adjustable, while steel tube rigs are lighter and quicker to assemble.

Driving position. GT position puts you upright with the pedals low; formula position reclines the seat and raises the pedals. Check whether the cockpit, seat bracket and pedal mount allow the position you want.

Plan the extras. Monitor stands, shifter and handbrake mounts, keyboard trays and PC shelves bolt onto most profile rigs. Planning them up front avoids drilling or re-assembling later.

Setup and use

1. Remove the old cushions from the seat shell.
2. Clean the shell surface.
3. Fit the new cushions in their positions (back, base, sides, shoulders).

Care and maintenance

Brush with a soft brush and spot-clean with a slightly damp cloth. Avoid soaking the fabric. Normal wear is not covered by warranty.

Shipping

Shipping is free on orders worldwide. Orders are prepared and dispatched within 1–3 business days and typically arrive within 4–8 business days in total, with tracking sent by email. Large items such as cockpits, seats and monitor stands can ship in several boxes, customs or public holidays can occasionally add a few days, and some items ship directly from our supplier.

Returns

You have 14 days from delivery to return the product for a refund, for any reason. It must be new, unused and in its original packaging with all accessories and documents. Contact us at metanexusxr@gmail.com with your order number to start the return.

Warranty

Products bought from our store are covered by a 2-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects. If anything goes wrong, email us your order number and a short description or photo and we will handle the claim with you.
