Choosing a VR hygiene and disinfection solution

Why disinfect VR headsets? Headsets touch the face, hair and hands of every user, so venues, schools and businesses need a routine between sessions. UV-C light disinfects surfaces without liquids or wiping, which also avoids wear on foam, lenses and plastics.

Size the unit to your fleet. Small boxes treat one or two headsets at a time between individual sessions; cabinets hold 10–30 headsets and usually charge them at the same time, which suits classrooms and arcades that run group sessions.

UV-C complements, not replaces, basic hygiene. UV-C only reaches surfaces the light hits, so remove heavy dirt first, keep surfaces dry, and combine it with disposable masks or wipeable covers. Effectiveness figures quoted on this page are the manufacturer's own test results.

Care and maintenance

Keep it clean and dry, store it away from direct sunlight and heat, and inspect it for wear before use. Wipe with a soft, dry microfibre cloth; do not use solvents.

Returns

You have 14 days from delivery to return the product for a refund, for any reason. It must be new, unused and in its original packaging with all accessories and documents. Contact us at metanexusxr@gmail.com with your order number to start the return. Consumables such as face cushions, foam pads or batteries showing wear cannot be refunded.

Warranty

Headsets and original accessories bought from our store are covered by a 2-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects. If anything goes wrong, email us your order number and a short description or photo and we will handle the claim with you.
