Flight Base Mount Adapter – 4 mm Steel Plate for NexusFlight Bases, Desk or Rig

Flight base mount adapter: overview

The flight base mount adapter gives NexusFlight stick bases a stable, wobble-free footing.

It is cut from 4 mm steel plate and pairs with suction cups for a firm grip on flat desks, or bolts to a sim rig, side mount or cockpit.

Its hole layout is designed for the NexusFlight ecosystem.

Who the flight base mount adapter is for

• Desk pilots

Features in detail

Wobble-free.

Desk or rig

Suction cups or bolts.

Ecosystem fit

Matching hole layout.

Compatibility

Bases: NexusFlight Force Stick Base and Force Stick Set base, and NexusFlight throttles.

Building a home flight simulator

Stick, yoke or both. Fighter jets and helicopters fly with a stick and throttle (HOTAS); airliners and general aviation use a yoke or a side stick with a throttle quadrant. Force feedback bases add real control loading: you feel airspeed, trim and stall buffet through the controls.

Panels make it real. Autopilot panels, flight computer displays and instrument screens put physical buttons where the virtual cockpit has them, so you fly by feel instead of clicking with a mouse.

Mounting. A desk clamp is enough to start; a flight cockpit or side mounts on a sim rig keep controls rigid and at the right height. Rudder pedals complete the setup for coordinated turns, taxiing and crosswind landings.

Setup and use

1. Bolt the base to the adapter.
2. Fix the adapter to the desk (suction cups) or rig.

Care and maintenance

Check the bolts occasionally.
