NexusFlight Rudder Pedals: overview

The NexusFlight rudder pedals are built around an all-metal frame and linkage for precise, durable yaw control in every phase of flight.

A swing-arm mechanism gives ±30° of rotation and up to 150 mm of travel with adjustable end stops, and high-resolution Hall sensors read both the rudder and the toe brakes (20° travel) for smooth taxiing and landings.

Pedal angle adjusts steplessly, interchangeable springs set the centring force and an optional damper adds resistance. Connect by USB or link to a NexusFlight base.

Who the nexusFlight Rudder Pedals is for

Compatibility

Sims: Microsoft Flight Simulator, X-Plane, DCS World and other PC flight sims.

Building a home flight simulator

Stick, yoke or both. Fighter jets and helicopters fly with a stick and throttle (HOTAS); airliners and general aviation use a yoke or a side stick with a throttle quadrant. Force feedback bases add real control loading: you feel airspeed, trim and stall buffet through the controls.

Panels make it real. Autopilot panels, flight computer displays and instrument screens put physical buttons where the virtual cockpit has them, so you fly by feel instead of clicking with a mouse.

Mounting. A desk clamp is enough to start; a flight cockpit or side mounts on a sim rig keep controls rigid and at the right height. Rudder pedals complete the setup for coordinated turns, taxiing and crosswind landings.

Setup and use

  1. Place on the floor (anti-slip pads) or bolt to a cockpit.
  2. Connect by USB or to your base.
  3. Set angle, springs and end stops.
  4. Calibrate in the cockpit configuration software.

Care and maintenance

Check bolts and linkage occasionally.
