NexusMotion platform third actuator kit: overview

This kit adds the centre mounting point needed to fit a third pro haptic motion actuator to the NexusMotion platform, upgrading a 2-actuator installation to a full 3-point motion system.

It bolts directly to the existing platform at the front or the rear – nothing to replace or modify.

A third actuator gives more nuanced pitch and roll cues for racing and flight simulation.

Compatibility

The NexusMotion universal motion platform (2/4-actuator version) with pro haptic motion actuators. Actuator not included.

Adding motion and haptics to a rig

Haptics vs motion. Bass shakers turn engine, road and kerb effects into vibration you feel through the seat and pedals. Motion actuators physically move the rig to simulate pitch, roll and heave. Both add information that helps you feel grip.

Power and software. Shakers need an amplifier and a telemetry app such as SimHub; motion systems come with their own controller and software profiles for each game.

Isolation. Keep screens on a freestanding stand and use isolation feet so vibration and motion stay in the rig and not in the floor or the monitors.

Setup and use

1. Bolt the centre mounting kit to the platform.
2. Fit the bracket and the actuator.
3. Configure the third actuator in the motion software.

Large items such as cockpits, seats and monitor stands can ship in several boxes, customs or public holidays can occasionally add a few days, and some items ship directly from our supplier.

Returns

You have 14 days from delivery to return the product for a refund, for any reason. It must be new, unused and in its original packaging with all accessories and documents. Contact us at metanexusxr@gmail.com with your order number to start the return.

Warranty

Products bought from our store are covered by a 2-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects. If anything goes wrong, email us your order number and a short description or photo and we will handle the claim with you.
