NexusMount 2-way upgrade side plates: overview

These four side plates upgrade an earlier-generation NexusMount wheel mount (first and second generation) to the latest 2-way design. They replace your original side plates and reuse your existing 120x40 mm aluminium profile, so you get the new adjustability without buying a whole new mount.

Mount the profile vertically for more leg and knee clearance – ideal for formula positions and compact cockpits – or horizontally for extra space for a dash, button box and accessories.

Important: the 120x40 mm profile is not included; the kit uses the one you already have.

Building a sim racing or flight setup

Base, rim and pedals. In a modular setup the wheel base holds the force feedback motor, the rim clips on with a quick release and the pedals connect to the base or by USB. Rims and pedals must suit your base, and the base decides which platforms are supported.

Direct drive. Direct drive bases attach the rim straight to the motor for the most detailed and strongest feedback. They need a rigid cockpit or a strong desk mount.

Load cell pedals. A load cell brake measures pressure, not travel, like a real car. It is the single upgrade that improves lap-time consistency the most.

Setup and use

1. Remove your wheel base and the original side plates.
2. Fit the four new side plates.
3. Reinstall your 120x40 profile in vertical or horizontal orientation.
4. Refit the wheel base and tighten.

Care and maintenance

Check bolts after the first sessions; clean with a damp cloth.

Shipping

Shipping is free on orders worldwide. Orders are prepared and dispatched within 1–3 business days and typically arrive within 4–8 business days in total, with tracking sent by email. Large items such as cockpits, seats and monitor stands can ship in several boxes, customs or public holidays can occasionally add a few days, and some items ship directly from our supplier.

Returns

You have 14 days from delivery to return the product for a refund, for any reason. It must be new, unused and in its original packaging with all accessories and documents. Contact us at metanexusxr@gmail.com with your order number to start the return.

Warranty

Products bought from our store are covered by a 2-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects. If anything goes wrong, email us your order number and a short description or photo and we will handle the claim with you.
