NexusMount Side-Mount Plates for NexusDrive DD Wheel Bases – 0–15° Angle Adjust (Plates Only)

$80.00

In Stock — Ready to Ship

These side-mount plates let you fit a NexusDrive DD9 Sport, DD12 or DD18 Pro direct drive base to the NexusMount wheel mounting system. The base is held from its sides, which frees up space under the wheel for a formula-style seating position with more legroom.

  • Aerospace-grade aluminium — A high strength-to-weight ratio keeps the mount rigid while staying light, so force feedback transfers cleanly.
  • 0–15° angle adjustment — Tilt the wheel to suit GT, formula, rally or endurance positions.
  • Anodised finish — Resists wear and sweat for long-term durability.
  • Side-mount layout — Holds the base by its sides for a clean installation and better leg room.

NexusMount side-mount plates: overview

These side-mount plates let you fit a NexusDrive DD9 Sport, DD12 or DD18 Pro direct drive base to the NexusMount wheel mounting system. The base is held from its sides, which frees up space under the wheel for a formula-style seating position with more legroom.

The plates are aerospace-grade aluminium – very rigid but light – with a wear-resistant anodised finish. They give you 0 to 15 degrees of angle adjustment so you can set the wheel for GT, formula, rally or endurance driving.

Please note: this listing is the plates only. You need the NexusMount system (base kit or a NexusRig Velocity) to install them.

Who the nexusMount side-mount plates is for

NexusDrive DD owners on the NexusMount system:

  • Drivers upgrading to a NexusDrive DD base who already have NexusMount
  • Formula drivers who want more leg room under the wheel
  • Motion and esports rigs that need a rigid, adjustable mount

Features in detail

Aerospace-grade aluminium

A high strength-to-weight ratio keeps the mount rigid while staying light, so force feedback transfers cleanly.

0–15° angle adjustment

Tilt the wheel to suit GT, formula, rally or endurance positions.

Anodised finish

Resists wear and sweat for long-term durability.

Side-mount layout

Holds the base by its sides for a clean installation and better leg room.

Compatibility

Wheel bases: NexusDrive DD9 Sport, DD12 and DD18 Pro.

Requires: the NexusMount wheel mounting system (not included) – the NexusMount base kit on aluminium profile rigs (NexusRig Fortress, Formula Hybrid, Titan, Vanguard, Sprint, Rookie, NexusHaul and other extrusion rigs) or a NexusRig Velocity, Velocity Carbon or GT Hybrid cockpit.

Building a sim racing or flight setup

Base, rim and pedals. In a modular setup the wheel base holds the force feedback motor, the rim clips on with a quick release and the pedals connect to the base or by USB. Rims and pedals must suit your base, and the base decides which platforms are supported.

Direct drive. Direct drive bases attach the rim straight to the motor for the most detailed and strongest feedback. They need a rigid cockpit or a strong desk mount.

Load cell pedals. A load cell brake measures pressure, not travel, like a real car. It is the single upgrade that improves lap-time consistency the most.

Setup and use

  1. Make sure the NexusMount system is installed on your rig.
  2. Fix the plates to the NexusMount side mounts.
  3. Bolt the wheel base between the plates and set the angle (0–15°).
  4. Set height and reach, then tighten everything.

Care and maintenance

Check the bolts after the first sessions and monthly with high torque. Clean the anodised plates with a soft damp cloth.
