NexusPedal Pro brake tuning kit: overview

This tuning kit gives you much finer control over the brake feel of your NexusPedal Pro pedals. Mix and match pad compounds and spring strengths to make the brake soft, medium or firm – and to tune the dead zone and return feel.

Grey rubber pads are soft, blue polyurethane pads are medium and red polyurethane pads are hard; ten springs of different strengths change the initial travel.

It works with both the standard and the hydraulic versions of the NexusPedal Pro, so you can tailor the brake to GT cars, formula cars or anything in between.

Building a sim racing or flight setup

Base, rim and pedals. In a modular setup the wheel base holds the force feedback motor, the rim clips on with a quick release and the pedals connect to the base or by USB. Rims and pedals must suit your base, and the base decides which platforms are supported.

Direct drive. Direct drive bases attach the rim straight to the motor for the most detailed and strongest feedback. They need a rigid cockpit or a strong desk mount.

Load cell pedals. A load cell brake measures pressure, not travel, like a real car. It is the single upgrade that improves lap-time consistency the most.

Setup and use

1. Remove the brake's existing pad stack and spring.
2. Assemble a new combination of pads and spring.
3. Refit, recalibrate the brake and test; repeat until it feels right.

Care and maintenance

Keep unused pads clean and dry; note your favourite combinations.

Shipping

Shipping is free on orders worldwide. Orders are prepared and dispatched within 1–3 business days and typically arrive within 4–8 business days in total, with tracking sent by email. Large items such as cockpits, seats and monitor stands can ship in several boxes, customs or public holidays can occasionally add a few days, and some items ship directly from our supplier.

Returns

You have 14 days from delivery to return the product for a refund, for any reason. It must be new, unused and in its original packaging with all accessories and documents. Contact us at metanexusxr@gmail.com with your order number to start the return.

Warranty

Products bought from our store are covered by a 2-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects. If anything goes wrong, email us your order number and a short description or photo and we will handle the claim with you.
