This bundle brings together the NexusShift 8-speed dual-mode shifter and the NexusBrake load cell handbrake – matched hardware from one ecosystem that installs and configures together.

The NexusShift 8-speed dual-mode shifter offers 8-speed H-pattern (plus reverse) or sequential at the flick of one lever, with a gear lock against mis-shifts, adjustable damping, replaceable knobs and full-metal construction, installed with just 8 screws on its profile plate. The NexusBrake load cell handbrake offers a CNC aluminium handbrake with a 100 kg load cell, 2-stage resistance, adjustable damping with interchangeable rubber inserts, horizontal or vertical lever and a removable 22 mm handle (188 × 66 × 350 mm, 1.3 kg).

Everything is tuned and updated through one configuration app, and connects to PC by USB.

Compatibility

PC via USB. Pedals, shifter and handbrake can also connect through the base where supported.

Mount on a rigid cockpit – for example our NexusRig aluminium cockpits – with the NexusMount 2-way side-mount kit for the base and our shifter and handbrake mounts.

Building a sim racing or flight setup

Base, rim and pedals. In a modular setup the wheel base holds the force feedback motor, the rim clips on with a quick release and the pedals connect to the base or by USB. Rims and pedals must suit your base, and the base decides which platforms are supported.

Direct drive. Direct drive bases attach the rim straight to the motor for the most detailed and strongest feedback. They need a rigid cockpit or a strong desk mount.

Load cell pedals. A load cell brake measures pressure, not travel, like a real car. It is the single upgrade that improves lap-time consistency the most.

Setup and use

1. Mount each component on your rig (base, pedals, shifter, handbrake).
2. Connect USB and power.
3. Install the configuration app, update firmware and calibrate.
4. Map controls in your sim.

Care and maintenance

Check mounting bolts regularly; keep the base vents clear; wipe aluminium and carbon with a dry cloth.

Shipping

Shipping is free on orders worldwide. Orders are prepared and dispatched within 1–3 business days and typically arrive within 4–8 business days in total, with tracking sent by email. Large items such as cockpits, seats and monitor stands can ship in several boxes, customs or public holidays can occasionally add a few days, and some items ship directly from our supplier.

Returns

You have 14 days from delivery to return the product for a refund, for any reason. It must be new, unused and in its original packaging with all accessories and documents. Contact us at metanexusxr@gmail.com with your order number to start the return.

Warranty

Products bought from our store are covered by a 2-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects. If anything goes wrong, email us your order number and a short description or photo and we will handle the claim with you.
