This rim mod replaces the standard rim of the NexusWheel Starter X with a 12-inch round rim.

A full round rim gives a natural grip for rally, drift and road cars, where you turn the wheel hand over hand.

Buttons, paddles and rev lights stay on the wheel centre, so nothing is lost.

Wheels: NexusWheel Starter X and the starter wheels of the NexusDrive Core 4, 5 and 6 sets.

Building a sim racing or flight setup

Base, rim and pedals. In a modular setup the wheel base holds the force feedback motor, the rim clips on with a quick release and the pedals connect to the base or by USB. Rims and pedals must suit your base, and the base decides which platforms are supported.

Direct drive. Direct drive bases attach the rim straight to the motor for the most detailed and strongest feedback. They need a rigid cockpit or a strong desk mount.

Load cell pedals. A load cell brake measures pressure, not travel, like a real car. It is the single upgrade that improves lap-time consistency the most.

Setup and use

1. Unscrew the standard rim.
2. Fit the mod rim.
3. Tighten the screws.

Shipping is free on orders worldwide. Orders are prepared and dispatched within 1–3 business days and typically arrive within 4–8 business days in total, with tracking sent by email. Large items such as cockpits, seats and monitor stands can ship in several boxes, customs or public holidays can occasionally add a few days, and some items ship directly from our supplier.

Returns

You have 14 days from delivery to return the product for a refund, for any reason. It must be new, unused and in its original packaging with all accessories and documents. Contact us at metanexusxr@gmail.com with your order number to start the return.
