Sim rig PC shelf: overview

This sim rig PC shelf mounts your gaming PC, a simulator control box or streaming hardware directly to your cockpit or monitor stand. The PC sits off the floor, cables stay short and tidy, and the whole simulator becomes one clean, integrated unit.

The shelf is folded steel with raised edges that stop the PC sliding off, and slots for optional straps if you want it locked down. Two universal brackets let it mount on wide or narrow uprights.

At 580 x 300 mm it takes most mid-size and full-size towers.

Mounting on aluminium profile rigs

The 8 mm slot standard. Most modern sim rigs use 40 mm-based aluminium extrusion (40x40, 40x80, 40x160) with 8 mm slots. Mounts fix with M8 bolts and T-nuts that slide into the slot, so they can be moved and re-angled at any time.

Rigidity and access. Mount heavy or high-force devices (handbrakes, shifters, wheel bases) as close to a vertical upright or cross member as possible. Leave room to get in and out of the seat.

Tools. A set of hex keys (mainly 6 mm for M8) covers nearly every mount. Snug every bolt, test, then do a final tightening once the position is right.

Setup and use

1. Choose the position: wheel uprights, beside the seat or on the monitor stand.
2. Slide T-nuts into the profile and fit the two brackets in the wide or narrow configuration.
3. Bolt the shelf to the brackets, check it is level and tighten.
4. Place the PC, add straps through the slots if needed and route cables.

Care and maintenance

Leave space around the PC's vents. Check the bracket bolts from time to time, especially on rigs with motion or shakers. Dust the shelf and wipe it with a dry cloth.

Large items such as cockpits, seats and monitor stands can ship in several boxes, customs or public holidays can occasionally add a few days, and some items ship directly from our supplier.

Returns

You have 14 days from delivery to return the product for a refund, for any reason. It must be new, unused and in its original packaging with all accessories and documents. Contact us at metanexusxr@gmail.com with your order number to start the return.

Warranty

Products bought from our store are covered by a 2-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects. If anything goes wrong, email us your order number and a short description or photo and we will handle the claim with you.
