Dual-mode hydraulic handbrake: overview

This dual-mode hydraulic handbrake is built for drift, rally and off-road sims. A second-generation hydraulic system with a redesigned oil circuit gives realistic hydraulic damping, read by a 10 MPa high-precision pressure sensor.

The lever switches between a classic horizontal position and a competitive vertical position to match the car and your style.

CNC-machined aluminium, an extended piston, sealed bearings and an enclosed design give zero mechanical free play and a smooth, consistent feel – plug in over USB and go.

Building a sim racing or flight setup

Base, rim and pedals. In a modular setup the wheel base holds the force feedback motor, the rim clips on with a quick release and the pedals connect to the base or by USB. Rims and pedals must suit your base, and the base decides which platforms are supported.

Direct drive. Direct drive bases attach the rim straight to the motor for the most detailed and strongest feedback. They need a rigid cockpit or a strong desk mount.

Load cell pedals. A load cell brake measures pressure, not travel, like a real car. It is the single upgrade that improves lap-time consistency the most.

Setup and use

1. Choose horizontal or vertical lever mode.
2. Bolt the handbrake to a handbrake mount through the Ø6 holes.
3. Connect USB (or CAN / Fanatec base).
4. Calibrate and set a mapping curve.

Care and maintenance

Check mounting bolts regularly; keep the unit clean and avoid knocking the lever.

Shipping

Shipping is free on orders worldwide. Orders are prepared and dispatched within 1–3 business days and typically arrive within 4–8 business days in total, with tracking sent by email. Large items such as cockpits, seats and monitor stands can ship in several boxes, customs or public holidays can occasionally add a few days, and some items ship directly from our supplier.

Returns

You have 14 days from delivery to return the product for a refund, for any reason. It must be new, unused and in its original packaging with all accessories and documents. Contact us at metanexusxr@gmail.com with your order number to start the return.
