NexusBrake Pro: overview

The NexusBrake Pro is a premium load cell handbrake for rally, drift and rallycross sim racing, built for drivers who want force-based modulation instead of a simple switch or potentiometer.

A 120 kg load cell measures how hard you pull – up to about 22 kg at the lever – with a linear, repeatable response. That lets you control handbrake turns, drift initiations, Scandinavian flicks and hairpins precisely.

A two-stage resistance system copies a real handbrake: a coil spring takes up the pad-to-disc slack, then progressive elastomers build firm resistance. Soft, medium and stiff elastomers are included, and the lever mounts vertically or horizontally.

Compatibility

Building a sim racing or flight setup

Base, rim and pedals. In a modular setup the wheel base holds the force feedback motor, the rim clips on with a quick release and the pedals connect to the base or by USB. Rims and pedals must suit your base, and the base decides which platforms are supported.

Direct drive. Direct drive bases attach the rim straight to the motor for the most detailed and strongest feedback. They need a rigid cockpit or a strong desk mount.

Load cell pedals. A load cell brake measures pressure, not travel, like a real car. It is the single upgrade that improves lap-time consistency the most.

Setup and use

1. Fit the handbrake to your rig, vertical or horizontal.
2. Choose an elastomer and set the lever angle.
3. Connect USB and map the axis in your sim.

Care and maintenance

Check mounting bolts regularly; swap elastomers to change feel rather than overtightening.

Shipping

Shipping is free on orders worldwide. Orders are prepared and dispatched within 1–3 business days and typically arrive within 4–8 business days in total, with tracking sent by email. Large items such as cockpits, seats and monitor stands can ship in several boxes, customs or public holidays can occasionally add a few days, and some items ship directly from our supplier.

Returns

You have 14 days from delivery to return the product for a refund, for any reason. It must be new, unused and in its original packaging with all accessories and documents. Contact us at metanexusxr@gmail.com with your order number to start the return.

Warranty

Products bought from our store are covered by a 2-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects. If anything goes wrong, email us your order number and a short description or photo and we will handle the claim with you.
