This flight simulator seat is a dedicated pilot seat for home cockpits and training setups. Instead of a fixed racing bucket, it uses a comfort-focused structure with high-density foam, a lumbar cushion and a recliner lever, so long-haul flights and long missions stay comfortable.

An integrated HOTAS cut-out lets you place a joystick and throttle in an authentic position for military and combat flying, while the recline and optional sliders make it easy to adjust for airliner procedures, general aviation or helicopter flying.

It comes with a seat bracket set for installation on T-slot cockpits, plus bonus armrests.

Integrated HOTAS cut-out

The cut-out leaves room for a joystick and throttle at your sides, so you can recreate a fighter-style control layout.

A premium PU leather and suede cover is durable, breathable and looks at home in a realistic cockpit. Note that this is an upholstered seat, not a fibreglass shell.

Bracket set and armrests included

The seat bracket set makes fitting to a T-slot cockpit straightforward, and armrests are included. Seat sliders are available as an option for extra fore-aft adjustment.

Compatibility

Fits the NexusRig Titan, Vanguard, Sprint and Apex cockpits and other T-slot cockpit systems via the included bracket set.

Choosing and building a sim rig

Rigidity first. A cockpit exists so the force your wheel base produces goes into your hands, not into a flexing frame. Direct drive bases need a stiff front mount; aluminium profile rigs (40 mm and 80 mm extrusion with 8 mm slots) are the stiffest and most adjustable, while steel tube rigs are lighter and quicker to assemble.

Driving position. GT position puts you upright with the pedals low; formula position reclines the seat and raises the pedals. Check whether the cockpit, seat bracket and pedal mount allow the position you want.

Plan the extras. Monitor stands, shifter and handbrake mounts, keyboard trays and PC shelves bolt onto most profile rigs. Planning them up front avoids drilling or re-assembling later.

Setup and use

1. Attach the included brackets to the seat.
2. Position the seat on the cockpit's seat mount and bolt the brackets down loosely.
3. Sit in and check the distance to your HOTAS, yoke and pedals.
4. Set the recline angle with the lever and tighten the brackets.
5. Fit the armrests if you want them.

Care and maintenance

Wipe PU leather with a damp cloth and mild soap; brush suede areas with a soft brush. Keep the seat out of direct sunlight for long periods to protect the finish. Check bracket bolts occasionally.

Shipping

Shipping is free on orders worldwide. Orders are prepared and dispatched within 1–3 business days and typically arrive within 4–8 business days in total, with tracking sent by email. Large items such as cockpits, seats and monitor stands can ship in several boxes, customs or public holidays can occasionally add a few days, and some items ship directly from our supplier.

Returns

You have 14 days from delivery to return the product for a refund, for any reason. It must be new, unused and in its original packaging with all accessories and documents. Contact us at metanexusxr@gmail.com with your order number to start the return.

Warranty

Products bought from our store are covered by a 2-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects. If anything goes wrong, email us your order number and a short description or photo and we will handle the claim with you.
