NexusSeat Flight Pro: overview

The NexusSeat Flight Pro is a dedicated flight sim chair for airliner, military and general aviation cockpits. It combines an integrated HOTAS cut-out with a backrest that locks from both sides, so it stays solid under the sustained inputs of a stick, throttle or control-loaded yoke.

It is built on a welded tubular steel frame with a reinforced shoulder structure and cross-braced base, padded with cold-moulded high-density foam and an ergonomic lumbar cushion for long-haul comfort.

A seat bracket set and bonus armrests are included; seat sliders are optional.

Integrated HOTAS cut-out

Positions joystick and throttle authentically at your sides.

Dual-sided recline lock

Steel recliner assemblies on both sides remove side-to-side flex and creaking over time; a quick-adjust lever changes the angle.

Compatibility

Bottom-mounts to compatible rails, sliders and frames. Fits the NexusRig Titan, Vanguard, Sprint and Apex and other T-slot cockpits, plus our tube cockpits (Classic, Velocity, Velocity Carbon, GT Hybrid) and aluminium profile cockpits (Fortress, Formula Hybrid, Rookie, NexusHaul).

Seat sliders for fore-aft adjustment are sold separately.

Choosing and building a sim rig

Rigidity first. A cockpit exists so the force your wheel base produces goes into your hands, not into a flexing frame. Direct drive bases need a stiff front mount; aluminium profile rigs (40 mm and 80 mm extrusion with 8 mm slots) are the stiffest and most adjustable, while steel tube rigs are lighter and quicker to assemble.

Driving position. GT position puts you upright with the pedals low; formula position reclines the seat and raises the pedals. Check whether the cockpit, seat bracket and pedal mount allow the position you want.

Plan the extras. Monitor stands, shifter and handbrake mounts, keyboard trays and PC shelves bolt onto most profile rigs. Planning them up front avoids drilling or re-assembling later.

Setup and use

1. Fit the seat bracket set (and sliders if you use them) to the seat base.
2. Bolt the seat to the cockpit (about 15–20 minutes).
3. Fit the armrests and set the backrest angle with the lever.
4. Position your HOTAS through the cut-outs and adjust heights.

Care and maintenance

Wipe the PU leather with a damp cloth and mild soap; brush suede areas. Keep out of prolonged sunlight. Check mounting bolts occasionally.

Shipping

Shipping is free on orders worldwide. Orders are prepared and dispatched within 1–3 business days and typically arrive within 4–8 business days in total, with tracking sent by email. Large items such as cockpits, seats and monitor stands can ship in several boxes, customs or public holidays can occasionally add a few days, and some items ship directly from our supplier.

Returns

You have 14 days from delivery to return the product for a refund, for any reason. It must be new, unused and in its original packaging with all accessories and documents. Contact us at metanexusxr@gmail.com with your order number to start the return.

Warranty

Products bought from our store are covered by a 2-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects. If anything goes wrong, email us your order number and a short description or photo and we will handle the claim with you.
