NexusSeat Recliner Dual-Lock (White): overview

The NexusSeat Recliner Dual-Lock is a reclining racing seat that combines the comfort and adjustability of a recliner with the strength of a dual-sided locking mechanism. Most recliners lock the backrest from one side only; this seat locks it from both, so it does not twist or rock under heavy braking or strong force feedback.

It is built on a welded tubular steel frame with a reinforced shoulder structure and a cross-braced base, padded with cold-moulded foam that keeps its shape, and covered in vivid white diamond-stitched PU leather.

Supportive side bolsters hold you in place without the tight fit of a fixed bucket seat, which makes it a great all-rounder for racing, flying, trucking and farming sims.

Compatibility

Bottom-mounts to compatible seat rails or sliders on our tube-frame cockpits (NexusRig Classic, Apex, Velocity, Velocity Carbon, GT Hybrid), aluminium profile cockpits (Fortress, Formula Hybrid, Titan, Vanguard, Sprint, Rookie, NexusHaul) and many third-party rigs. Seat sliders are sold separately.

Motion: D-BOX, Sigma Integrale and Qubic System, subject to mounting, payload and configuration. Check your motion system's payload limit before ordering.

Choosing and building a sim rig

Rigidity first. A cockpit exists so the force your wheel base produces goes into your hands, not into a flexing frame. Direct drive bases need a stiff front mount; aluminium profile rigs (40 mm and 80 mm extrusion with 8 mm slots) are the stiffest and most adjustable, while steel tube rigs are lighter and quicker to assemble.

Driving position. GT position puts you upright with the pedals low; formula position reclines the seat and raises the pedals. Check whether the cockpit, seat bracket and pedal mount allow the position you want.

Plan the extras. Monitor stands, shifter and handbrake mounts, keyboard trays and PC shelves bolt onto most profile rigs. Planning them up front avoids drilling or re-assembling later.

Setup and use

1. Choose 'seat with brackets' if your cockpit needs them.
2. Fit seat sliders to the seat base if you want fore-aft adjustment.
3. Bolt the seat to the cockpit's seat mount (about 15–20 minutes).
4. Set the backrest angle with the recliner levers and check your reach to wheel and pedals.

Care and maintenance

Wipe the PU leather with a damp cloth and mild soap; avoid solvents. Keep it out of prolonged direct sunlight. Check the mounting bolts regularly, especially on motion rigs.

Shipping

Shipping is free on orders worldwide. Orders are prepared and dispatched within 1–3 business days and typically arrive within 4–8 business days in total, with tracking sent by email. Large items such as cockpits, seats and monitor stands can ship in several boxes, customs or public holidays can occasionally add a few days, and some items ship directly from our supplier.

Returns

You have 14 days from delivery to return the product for a refund, for any reason. It must be new, unused and in its original packaging with all accessories and documents. Contact us at metanexusxr@gmail.com with your order number to start the return.

Warranty

Products bought from our store are covered by a 2-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects. If anything goes wrong, email us your order number and a short description or photo and we will handle the claim with you.
