NexusSeat GT Elite (Pearlescent Blue): overview

This NexusSeat GT Elite is a blue racing seat with a high-gloss pearlescent, colour-shift finish – a showpiece for your cockpit that still does the serious job of holding you in a firm GT position.

Underneath the paint it is the same as every GT Elite: an ultra-rigid fibreglass shell with minimal flex, a fixed GT-style back and pre-installed high-density formed padding for long sessions.

It fits S to XL drivers up to about a 46-inch waist, carries up to 200 kg and suits direct drive, load cell and motion setups.

Compatibility

Fits our tube-frame cockpits (NexusRig Classic, Apex, Velocity, Velocity Carbon, GT Hybrid) and aluminium profile cockpits (Fortress, Formula Hybrid, Titan, Vanguard, Sprint, Rookie, NexusHaul), plus other side-mount rigs. Seat sliders sold separately.

Motion: D-BOX, Sigma Integrale and Qubic System setups, depending on cockpit and platform.

Choosing and building a sim rig

Rigidity first. A cockpit exists so the force your wheel base produces goes into your hands, not into a flexing frame. Direct drive bases need a stiff front mount; aluminium profile rigs (40 mm and 80 mm extrusion with 8 mm slots) are the stiffest and most adjustable, while steel tube rigs are lighter and quicker to assemble.

Driving position. GT position puts you upright with the pedals low; formula position reclines the seat and raises the pedals. Check whether the cockpit, seat bracket and pedal mount allow the position you want.

Plan the extras. Monitor stands, shifter and handbrake mounts, keyboard trays and PC shelves bolt onto most profile rigs. Planning them up front avoids drilling or re-assembling later.

Setup and use

1. Choose 'seat with brackets' if your cockpit has no bucket-seat brackets.
2. Fit the brackets to the seat's side mounting points.
3. Bolt the seat to the cockpit or seat sliders, check your position and tighten.

Care and maintenance

Clean with a soft damp cloth and mild soap; avoid abrasive pads that dull the pearlescent gloss. Check bracket bolts regularly on motion rigs.

Shipping

Shipping is free on orders worldwide. Orders are prepared and dispatched within 1–3 business days and typically arrive within 4–8 business days in total, with tracking sent by email. Large items such as cockpits, seats and monitor stands can ship in several boxes, customs or public holidays can occasionally add a few days, and some items ship directly from our supplier.

Returns

You have 14 days from delivery to return the product for a refund, for any reason. It must be new, unused and in its original packaging with all accessories and documents. Contact us at metanexusxr@gmail.com with your order number to start the return.

Warranty

Products bought from our store are covered by a 2-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects. If anything goes wrong, email us your order number and a short description or photo and we will handle the claim with you.
