NexusDrive Elite Pro Gen3: overview

The NexusDrive Elite Pro Gen3 is a 25 Nm direct drive wheel base that delivers precise, smooth, industry-leading force feedback. Each unit is individually calibrated and digitally modelled, and a completely re-engineered control algorithm gives maximum accuracy with virtually silent operation.

Telemetry-based effects add ABS, RPM and road texture detail on top of your game's force feedback, so you feel every kerb, bump and slip.

A new-generation, high-response industrial servo motor and a 23-bit absolute encoder (8,000,000 steps) underpin it all. It needs a NexusLink Hub to operate; the NexusLink quick release is sold separately.

Who the nexusDrive Elite Pro Gen3 is for

Serious sim racers:

  • iRacing, ACC, rFactor 2 and LMU drivers
  • Esports professionals
  • Rigid profile cockpits

Features in detail

25 Nm

Plenty of torque with detail at any strength.

Calibrated, near-silent

Individually calibrated for smooth, quiet operation.

Telemetry effects

ABS, RPM and road texture.

23-bit encoder

8,000,000 steps per revolution.

Front and bottom mounting

Flexible installation.

Full fastener kit

Bolts, washers and T-nuts for 8 mm slot.

Compatibility

Requires a NexusLink Hub (sold separately). Wheels attach with the NexusLink quick release (sold separately).

Mount on a rigid cockpit via the 135 mm / 78.4 mm hole patterns and 110 mm centering flange – e.g. with our NexusMount direct drive front-mount plate.

Building a sim racing or flight setup

Base, rim and pedals. In a modular setup the wheel base holds the force feedback motor, the rim clips on with a quick release and the pedals connect to the base or by USB. Rims and pedals must suit your base, and the base decides which platforms are supported.

Direct drive. Direct drive bases attach the rim straight to the motor for the most detailed and strongest feedback. They need a rigid cockpit or a strong desk mount.

Load cell pedals. A load cell brake measures pressure, not travel, like a real car. It is the single upgrade that improves lap-time consistency the most.

Setup and use

  1. Front- or bottom-mount the base with the supplied bolts.
  2. Connect the control box, power adapter and NexusLink Hub (RJ45).
  3. Fit the NexusLink quick release and your wheel.
  4. Install the software and set your profile.

Care and maintenance

Keep the ventilation clear and check mount bolts regularly. Update firmware through the software.
