NexusRig Formula Hybrid: overview

The NexusRig Formula Hybrid is a next-generation formula and GT sim rig built from heavy-duty 160x40 mm aluminium extrusion, finished in a striking liquid blue team-edition colour.

It switches between a low formula position and an upright GT position in seconds: the quick-release pedal plate, sliding and reclining seat assembly and a multi-orientation wheel mount all adjust without tools. The wheel mount flips between vertical and horizontal to free up legroom or create space for accessories.

It arrives with a long list of extras – a wireless phone charger, headphone/VR holder, cup holder, keyboard holder, sim floor, side chassis support and seat sliders – and it is motion-ready.

Compatibility

Wheel bases: all major direct drive and belt-driven bases – Simucube, Simagic, Fanatec, MOZA, Asetek, VRS, VNM, Logitech, Thrustmaster and more – via the multi-orientation mount and NexusMount plates.

Pedals, shifters, handbrakes: the major brands, including Heusinkveld, Fanatec, Simagic, Simucube, MOZA, Asetek, Thrustmaster, VNM and Conspit.

Seats: side-mount bucket seats via the included adjustable seat brackets; the NexusSeat Hybrid Formula is a natural match.

Choosing and building a sim rig

Rigidity first. A cockpit exists so the force your wheel base produces goes into your hands, not into a flexing frame. Direct drive bases need a stiff front mount; aluminium profile rigs (40 mm and 80 mm extrusion with 8 mm slots) are the stiffest and most adjustable, while steel tube rigs are lighter and quicker to assemble.

Driving position. GT position puts you upright with the pedals low; formula position reclines the seat and raises the pedals. Check whether the cockpit, seat bracket and pedal mount allow the position you want.

Plan the extras. Monitor stands, shifter and handbrake mounts, keyboard trays and PC shelves bolt onto most profile rigs. Planning them up front avoids drilling or re-assembling later.

Setup and use

1. Assemble the 160 mm chassis with the included tool kit.
2. Fit your seat to the adjustable brackets and slider rails.
3. Install your wheel base on the wheel mount (vertical or horizontal) and pedals on the slider pedal mount.
4. Fit the included accessories and route cables with the clips.
5. Set formula or GT and fine-tune.

Care and maintenance

Check bolts after the first week and then monthly. Wipe the anodised profile with a damp cloth; keep the floor protectors fitted.

Shipping, returns and warranty

Shipping

Shipping is free on orders worldwide. Orders are prepared and dispatched within 1–3 business days and typically arrive within 4–8 business days in total, with tracking sent by email. Large items such as cockpits, seats and monitor stands can ship in several boxes, customs or public holidays can occasionally add a few days, and some items ship directly from our supplier.

Returns

You have 14 days from delivery to return the product for a refund, for any reason. It must be new, unused and in its original packaging with all accessories and documents. Contact us at metanexusxr@gmail.com with your order number to start the return.

Warranty

Products bought from our store are covered by a 2-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects. If anything goes wrong, email us your order number and a short description or photo and we will handle the claim with you.
