NexusRig GT Hybrid: overview

The NexusRig GT Hybrid is a designer GT sim rig for drivers who want their cockpit to look as good as it drives. Flowing, sports-car-inspired outer panels wrap a reinforced 2-inch tubular steel chassis, and you can choose white, yellow or black.

It switches between GT and formula positions quickly: the tool-free wheel deck slides and adjusts in height and angle, the flex-free pedal plate adjusts forward, back, height and angle and also supports inverted pedals, and the patent-pending seat system changes position in under 10 seconds.

There is space under the seat for a bass shaker, and four wheel mount options cover most direct drive and belt-driven wheel bases.

Four wheel mount options

A wheel plate, a direct drive side mount, a universal front mount and a dedicated front mount for premium bases (see compatibility for which bases use which).

Compatibility

Wheel bases: most direct drive and belt-driven bases, including Simucube, VRS, Simagic, MOZA, Logitech and Thrustmaster. The side mount is for Fanatec DD bases and the dedicated front mount for Asetek bases.

Pedals, shifters, handbrakes: the major brands (Heusinkveld, Fanatec, Simagic, Simucube, MOZA, Asetek, Thrustmaster, VNM, Conspit and more).

Seats: designed around a hybrid fixed fibreglass seat; compatible with our NexusSeat range and some other seats.

Choosing and building a sim rig

Rigidity first. A cockpit exists so the force your wheel base produces goes into your hands, not into a flexing frame. Direct drive bases need a stiff front mount; aluminium profile rigs (40 mm and 80 mm extrusion with 8 mm slots) are the stiffest and most adjustable, while steel tube rigs are lighter and quicker to assemble.

Driving position. GT position puts you upright with the pedals low; formula position reclines the seat and raises the pedals. Check whether the cockpit, seat bracket and pedal mount allow the position you want.

Plan the extras. Monitor stands, shifter and handbrake mounts, keyboard trays and PC shelves bolt onto most profile rigs. Planning them up front avoids drilling or re-assembling later.

Setup and use

1. Assemble the chassis and fit the panels.
2. Install your wheel base on the deck or chosen mount and your pedals on the plate.
3. Choose GT or formula, set the seat (tool-free), pedal plate and wheel deck.
4. Add a bass shaker under the seat if you have one.

Care and maintenance

Wipe panels with a soft damp cloth; avoid abrasive cleaners. Check chassis bolts after the first week and monthly with a direct drive base.

Shipping, returns and warranty

Shipping

Shipping is free on orders worldwide. Orders are prepared and dispatched within 1–3 business days and typically arrive within 4–8 business days in total, with tracking sent by email. Large items such as cockpits, seats and monitor stands can ship in several boxes, customs or public holidays can occasionally add a few days, and some items ship directly from our supplier.

Returns

You have 14 days from delivery to return the product for a refund, for any reason. It must be new, unused and in its original packaging with all accessories and documents. Contact us at metanexusxr@gmail.com with your order number to start the return.

Warranty

Products bought from our store are covered by a 2-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects. If anything goes wrong, email us your order number and a short description or photo and we will handle the claim with you.
