NexusRig Sprint: overview

The NexusRig Sprint is a great-value sim racing cockpit in 80x40 mm thick-walled black anodised aluminium, with the features you actually need in a small footprint. It comes standard with a formula/GT hybrid pedal plate, so you can drive with your feet up in a formula position or down in a GT position.

Side-mounted wheel uprights with heavy-duty 80x40 brackets keep the wheel deck free of flex, whether you run a belt-drive wheel or a direct drive base, and the improved pedal plate withstands hundreds of kilograms of braking force.

It is pre-drilled for the popular wheels, pedals and shifters, motion ready, and expandable with over 30 add-ons – monitor stands, keyboard and speaker mounts, bass shaker mounts and more.

Compatibility

Wheel bases: most belt-drive and direct drive bases via the adjustable wheel plate (Fanatec, Logitech, Thrustmaster, MOZA, Simagic, Asetek, AccuForce, Conspit Ares, PXN, Nacon, Thermaltake, Turtle Beach, VNM). Front-mount bases such as Simucube, VRS and Simagic Alpha fit with an optional direct drive front bracket.

Pedals: pre-drilled for the major brands – Fanatec, Heusinkveld, Simagic, Simucube, MOZA, Asetek, Logitech, Thrustmaster, Cammus, Conspit, VNM, VRS and more – or mount pedals directly to the profile.

Shifters, handbrakes, flight: with optional NexusMount shifter, handbrake and flight mounts; rudders from Thrustmaster, Logitech, Virpil and RUDDO+; yokes from Logitech, Turtle Beach, Brunner and Yoko.

Seats: bring your own bucket seat with side brackets, or a recliner/office-style seat with seat brackets; a dual-lock seat slider is available.

Choosing and building a sim rig

Rigidity first. A cockpit exists so the force your wheel base produces goes into your hands, not into a flexing frame. Direct drive bases need a stiff front mount; aluminium profile rigs (40 mm and 80 mm extrusion with 8 mm slots) are the stiffest and most adjustable, while steel tube rigs are lighter and quicker to assemble.

Driving position. GT position puts you upright with the pedals low; formula position reclines the seat and raises the pedals. Check whether the cockpit, seat bracket and pedal mount allow the position you want.

Plan the extras. Monitor stands, shifter and handbrake mounts, keyboard trays and PC shelves bolt onto most profile rigs. Planning them up front avoids drilling or re-assembling later.

Setup and use

1. Assemble the frame with the included tool kit.
2. Fit your seat with brackets (and a slider if wanted).
3. Mount the wheel base on the wheel plate and the pedals on the hybrid plate.
4. Choose formula or GT pedal position, adjust and tighten.

Care and maintenance

Check bolts after the first week and then monthly; wipe the anodised profile with a damp cloth.

Shipping

Shipping is free on orders worldwide. Orders are prepared and dispatched within 1–3 business days and typically arrive within 4–8 business days in total, with tracking sent by email. Large items such as cockpits, seats and monitor stands can ship in several boxes, customs or public holidays can occasionally add a few days, and some items ship directly from our supplier.

Returns

You have 14 days from delivery to return the product for a refund, for any reason. It must be new, unused and in its original packaging with all accessories and documents. Contact us at metanexusxr@gmail.com with your order number to start the return.

Warranty

Products bought from our store are covered by a 2-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects. If anything goes wrong, email us your order number and a short description or photo and we will handle the claim with you.
