Keyboard & Mouse Side Mount for NexusRig Apex, Velocity & Formula – Adjustable Trays, Matte Black

Keyboard and mouse side mount: overview

This keyboard and mouse mount puts both within reach on either side of your wheel or flight stick, so you can drive, fly, chat and manage menus without leaving the seat.

Laser-cut trays on adjustable elbows let you set height and angle: the keyboard tray is 480 x 200 mm and the mouse tray 200 x 200 mm.

It fits the NexusRig Apex, Velocity, Velocity Carbon, GT Hybrid, Formula and F1 Replica Emerald and has a matte black finish.

Rigs: NexusRig Apex, Velocity, Velocity Carbon, GT Hybrid, Formula and F1 Replica Emerald. For aluminium profile rigs see our universal keyboard holder.

Mounting on aluminium profile rigs

The 8 mm slot standard. Most modern sim rigs use 40 mm-based aluminium extrusion (40x40, 40x80, 40x160) with 8 mm slots. Mounts fix with M8 bolts and T-nuts that slide into the slot, so they can be moved and re-angled at any time.

Rigidity and access. Mount heavy or high-force devices (handbrakes, shifters, wheel bases) as close to a vertical upright or cross member as possible. Leave room to get in and out of the seat.

Tools. A set of hex keys (mainly 6 mm for M8) covers nearly every mount. Snug every bolt, test, then do a final tightening once the position is right.

Setup and use

1. Bolt the arm to the side of the cockpit.
2. Fit the keyboard and mouse trays.
3. Adjust the elbows and tighten.

Care and maintenance

Wipe the trays with a dry cloth; check bolts occasionally.
