Tablet and button box mount: overview

This button box mount places a tablet and a button box beside your wheel, on the left or right of the wheel mount. Keep pit-stop controls, ignition and lights switches or a telemetry tablet within a thumb's reach while you drive.

It is laser-cut iron with a heavy, durable matte black finish and adjusts to fit most tablets and button boxes.

Designed for the NexusRig Apex and NexusRig Velocity, it also fixes to any aluminium profile with an 8 mm slot.

Compatibility

Direct fit on the NexusRig Apex and NexusRig Velocity wheel mounts. Also fits extruded aluminium profile with an 8 mm slot.

Fits most tablets and button boxes; very large tablets may overhang.

Mounting on aluminium profile rigs

The 8 mm slot standard. Most modern sim rigs use 40 mm-based aluminium extrusion (40x40, 40x80, 40x160) with 8 mm slots. Mounts fix with M8 bolts and T-nuts that slide into the slot, so they can be moved and re-angled at any time.

Rigidity and access. Mount heavy or high-force devices (handbrakes, shifters, wheel bases) as close to a vertical upright or cross member as possible. Leave room to get in and out of the seat.

Tools. A set of hex keys (mainly 6 mm for M8) covers nearly every mount. Snug every bolt, test, then do a final tightening once the position is right.

Setup and use

1. Choose the side of the wheel mount.
2. Bolt the mount on with the included screws and tools.
3. Adjust the holder to your tablet and button box and fix them in place.

Care and maintenance

Check screws after the first sessions. Wipe the matte finish with a damp cloth.

Shipping

Shipping is free on orders worldwide. Orders are prepared and dispatched within 1–3 business days and typically arrive within 4–8 business days in total, with tracking sent by email. Large items such as cockpits, seats and monitor stands can ship in several boxes, customs or public holidays can occasionally add a few days, and some items ship directly from our supplier.

Returns

You have 14 days from delivery to return the product for a refund, for any reason. It must be new, unused and in its original packaging with all accessories and documents. Contact us at metanexusxr@gmail.com with your order number to start the return.

Warranty

Products bought from our store are covered by a 2-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects. If anything goes wrong, email us your order number and a short description or photo and we will handle the claim with you.
