Tablet and button box mount kit: overview

This mount kit puts a tablet, Stream Deck, small LCD display or button box right next to the wheel, on the left or right of the wheel mount.

It is laser-cut from iron with a matte black finish and adjusts to fit most tablets and button boxes, so pit-strategy apps, dashboards and extra switches are always within reach.

It fits the NexusRig Apex, Velocity, Velocity Carbon, GT Hybrid, Formula and F1 Replica Emerald cockpits directly, and comes with all mounts, tools and screws.

Mounting on aluminium profile rigs

The 8 mm slot standard. Most modern sim rigs use 40 mm-based aluminium extrusion (40x40, 40x80, 40x160) with 8 mm slots. Mounts fix with M8 bolts and T-nuts that slide into the slot, so they can be moved and re-angled at any time.

Rigidity and access. Mount heavy or high-force devices (handbrakes, shifters, wheel bases) as close to a vertical upright or cross member as possible. Leave room to get in and out of the seat.

Tools. A set of hex keys (mainly 6 mm for M8) covers nearly every mount. Snug every bolt, test, then do a final tightening once the position is right.

Setup and use

1. Bolt the bracket beside the wheel mount.
2. Fit the tablet holder or button box plate.
3. Adjust the angle and tighten.

Care and maintenance

Check screws occasionally; wipe with a dry cloth.

Large items such as cockpits, seats and monitor stands can ship in several boxes, customs or public holidays can occasionally add a few days, and some items ship directly from our supplier.

Returns

You have 14 days from delivery to return the product for a refund, for any reason. It must be new, unused and in its original packaging with all accessories and documents. Contact us at metanexusxr@gmail.com with your order number to start the return.

Warranty

Every new product bought from our store has a 3-year legal guarantee from delivery (1 year for refurbished items). If anything goes wrong, email us your order number and a short description or photo and we will handle the claim with you.
