NexusMount wheel plate adapter for Asetek: overview

This heavy-duty adapter mounts an Asetek SimSports direct drive wheel base onto your cockpit's wheel deck or plate.

It is laser-cut from thick carbon steel for stability under high-torque force feedback, and its adjustable design lets you set the ideal position.

Fix the adapter to the base first, then bolt it to the deck. Mounting hardware for the deck is not included.

Compatibility

Asetek SimSports wheel bases. Our tube cockpits with a wheel deck (NexusRig Classic, Apex, Compact, Formula, F1 Replica Emerald) and aluminium rigs with a wheel plate (NexusRig Sprint, Rookie), plus other branded cockpits with a wheel plate.

Mounting on aluminium profile rigs

The 8 mm slot standard. Most modern sim rigs use 40 mm-based aluminium extrusion (40x40, 40x80, 40x160) with 8 mm slots. Mounts fix with M8 bolts and T-nuts that slide into the slot, so they can be moved and re-angled at any time.

Rigidity and access. Mount heavy or high-force devices (handbrakes, shifters, wheel bases) as close to a vertical upright or cross member as possible. Leave room to get in and out of the seat.

Tools. A set of hex keys (mainly 6 mm for M8) covers nearly every mount. Snug every bolt, test, then do a final tightening once the position is right.

Setup and use

1. Bolt the adapter to the Asetek base.
2. Place it on the wheel deck and bolt it down.
3. Adjust position and tighten.

Returns
