NexusRig Formula – F1 Sim Rig with Formula Seat, Steel Chassis, Up to 25 Nm

$2,282.00

In Stock — Ready to Ship

The NexusRig Formula is an F1 sim rig that puts you in a true low formula driving position: legs raised, body reclined, the wheel close to your chest, just like a single-seater. A formula-inspired seat is included, so the rig is complete apart from your wheel, pedals and screen.

  • Formula-inspired seat included — A low seating position, ergonomic shell (die-cast aluminium) and soft cushions give realistic support and comfort for long sessions.
  • Strengthened pedal plate — The reinforced pedal assembly resists flex under hard braking and has expanded pre-drilled holes for high-performance load cell and hydraulic pedals. Angle and distance adjust.
  • Reinforced adjustable wheel mount — Height, angle, forward and backward adjustment let you set the wheel exactly; reinforced steel holds direct drive torque up to 25 Nm without flex.
  • Heavy-duty steel chassis — Industrial-strength steel with a premium powder coat and ABS panels for a finished, race-car look.

NexusRig Formula: overview

The NexusRig Formula is an F1 sim rig that puts you in a true low formula driving position: legs raised, body reclined, the wheel close to your chest, just like a single-seater. A formula-inspired seat is included, so the rig is complete apart from your wheel, pedals and screen.

The chassis is heavy-duty steel with a premium powder-coated finish and ABS body panels. The reinforced pedal plate takes extreme braking forces without flex and is pre-drilled for the latest load cell and hydraulic pedal sets, while the reinforced wheel mount handles direct drive bases up to 25 Nm.

Add the optional integrated single monitor stand and you have a clean, compact formula simulator for iRacing, F1, Assetto Corsa Competizione or Le Mans Ultimate.

Choosing and building a sim rig

Rigidity first. A cockpit exists so the force your wheel base produces goes into your hands, not into a flexing frame. Direct drive bases need a stiff front mount; aluminium profile rigs (40 mm and 80 mm extrusion with 8 mm slots) are the stiffest and most adjustable, while steel tube rigs are lighter and quicker to assemble.

Driving position. GT position puts you upright with the pedals low; formula position reclines the seat and raises the pedals. Check whether the cockpit, seat bracket and pedal mount allow the position you want.

Plan the extras. Monitor stands, shifter and handbrake mounts, keyboard trays and PC shelves bolt onto most profile rigs. Planning them up front avoids drilling or re-assembling later.

Setup and use

  1. Assemble the chassis, then fit the seat, pedal plate and wheel mount with the hardware supplied.
  2. Mount your wheel base and pedals.
  3. Sit in and set the pedal distance and angle for a formula position (heels low, knees raised).
  4. Set wheel height, angle and reach so your arms are slightly bent at the top of the wheel.
  5. Tighten everything and add the optional integrated monitor stand if you use one.

Care and maintenance

Check bolts after the first week and then monthly with a high-torque base. Wipe the powder-coated steel and ABS panels with a damp cloth; clean seat cushions as you would car upholstery. Keep the rubber floor protectors fitted to protect hardwood floors.
