RGB LED Sim Racing Floor Mat – Glow-in-the-Dark Neon Cockpit Mat

$92.00
$158.00

In Stock — Ready to Ship

This RGB LED sim racing floor mat is the finishing touch for a cockpit: switched on, its optic fibre edge glows in the dark and cycles through RGB colours, giving your rig an ambient light that looks great on stream and in a dark room. Switched off, it is still a neat, clean mat under your rig.

  • Colour-cycling RGB light — When powered, the light cycles through vibrant RGB colours, which creates a moving ambient glow around the base of the rig.
  • Glow-in-the-dark optic fibre edge — The light runs through an optic fibre trim on the edges, so the outline of the mat glows. One buyer notes the light comes from a single LED source feeding the fibre, so it is an ambient effect rather than a bright floodlight.
  • Looks good switched off — The mat has a clean look when the lighting is off, so it does not only work as a light show.
  • Sized for cockpit use — The length suits the footprint of tube-frame and aluminium profile cockpits. The maker lists the size as L 910 mm × W 125 mm (35.83 × 4.92 in); if the exact footprint matters for your room, email us before ordering and we will confirm it.

RGB LED sim racing floor mat: overview

This RGB LED sim racing floor mat is the finishing touch for a cockpit: switched on, its optic fibre edge glows in the dark and cycles through RGB colours, giving your rig an ambient light that looks great on stream and in a dark room. Switched off, it is still a neat, clean mat under your rig.

It suits sim racing and flight simulator setups alike, from a home racing corner to an esports or streaming studio where the cockpit is the centrepiece of the shot.

One important handling note from the maker: the optic fibre edge trim can be crushed if the rig rolls over it, so the rig must be lifted over the edges, never rolled onto the mat. Placed carefully, it will look great for a long time.

Who the RGB LED sim racing floor mat is for

Sim racers and flight simmers who want their setup to stand out:

  • Streamers and content creators who film their cockpit
  • Esports setups and gaming rooms with dark or ambient lighting
  • Owners of tube-frame and aluminium profile cockpits
  • Anyone giving a sim rig as a gift and wanting a finishing touch

Features in detail

Colour-cycling RGB light

When powered, the light cycles through vibrant RGB colours, which creates a moving ambient glow around the base of the rig.

Glow-in-the-dark optic fibre edge

The light runs through an optic fibre trim on the edges, so the outline of the mat glows. One buyer notes the light comes from a single LED source feeding the fibre, so it is an ambient effect rather than a bright floodlight.

Looks good switched off

The mat has a clean look when the lighting is off, so it does not only work as a light show.

Sized for cockpit use

The length suits the footprint of tube-frame and aluminium profile cockpits. The maker lists the size as L 910 mm × W 125 mm (35.83 × 4.92 in); if the exact footprint matters for your room, email us before ordering and we will confirm it.

Compatibility

Suits our tube-frame cockpits (NexusRig Velocity, Apex, Compact, Formula, Fold and GT Hybrid) and our aluminium profile cockpits (Fortress, Titan, Vanguard, Sprint, Rookie, Formula Hybrid and the NexusHaul Truck Simulator). It also works with other brands' rigs – compare the listed dimensions with your rig's footprint first.

Do not roll a rig on castors over the mat edges: lift the rig into place.

Choosing and building a sim rig

Rigidity first. A cockpit exists so the force your wheel base produces goes into your hands, not into a flexing frame. Direct drive bases need a stiff front mount; aluminium profile rigs (40 mm and 80 mm extrusion with 8 mm slots) are the stiffest and most adjustable, while steel tube rigs are lighter and quicker to assemble.

Driving position. GT position puts you upright with the pedals low; formula position reclines the seat and raises the pedals. Check whether the cockpit, seat bracket and pedal mount allow the position you want.

Plan the extras. Monitor stands, shifter and handbrake mounts, keyboard trays and PC shelves bolt onto most profile rigs. Planning them up front avoids drilling or re-assembling later.

Setup and use

  1. Clear and clean the floor area where the rig will stand.
  2. Lay the mat flat and let it relax for a while if it was rolled in its packaging.
  3. Lift the rig over the edges and lower it onto the mat – never roll it on.
  4. Connect the lighting, switch it on and choose where to run the cable so it is not pinched by the rig.

Care and maintenance

Vacuum or wipe the surface with a damp cloth and let it dry. Keep the edges free of heavy point loads and do not drag furniture or the rig across them, because the optic fibre trim can be crushed. Keep liquids away from the lighting connection.

Questions about RGB LED Sim Racing Floor Mat – Glow-in-the-Dark Neon Cockpit Mat

How bright is the light?

It is an ambient, glow-in-the-dark effect that cycles through colours. It looks best in a dim room and is not designed as room lighting.

Can I roll my rig onto it?

No. Rolling a rig over the edges can crush the optic fibre trim. Lift the rig over the edges and set it down on the mat.

Does it fit rigs from other brands?

Yes, as long as the rig's footprint suits the listed dimensions. Measure your rig before ordering.

Is it only for sim racing?

No. It works just as well under a flight simulator cockpit or a gaming chair setup.

Do you sell a plain floor mat as well?

Yes. See our neoprene sim rig floor mat in the rig accessories collection.

How long does delivery take?

Shipping is free worldwide. Orders are dispatched within 1–3 business days and usually arrive within 4–8 business days in total, with tracking by email.

Can I return it if it is not right for me?

Yes, within 14 days of delivery, as long as it is new, unused and in its original packaging. Email metanexusxr@gmail.com with your order number to start a return.

Is it covered by a warranty?

Yes, a 2-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects on products bought from our store. See all our sim rig accessories, or browse the complete sim racing range to build your rig.
