Universal steering wheel hub spacer: overview

This hub spacer moves your steering wheel closer to you – in 50, 100 or 150 mm – so you can dial in the exact reach without moving the whole wheel deck. It is the same trick racing drivers use on real steering columns.

It is CNC-machined from billet 6061-T6 aviation-grade aluminium for rigidity with low rotating mass, so force feedback stays crisp, and finished in matte black anodising.

It fits any wheel base or quick release with the industry-standard 6 x 70 mm or 3 x 50.8 mm bolt pattern.

Compatibility

Wheel bases and quick releases with 6 x 70 mm or 3 x 50.8 mm patterns: Simucube, Simagic, Asetek, VNM, VRS, Cammus, AccuForce and most others – plus our NexusDrive bases.

Not compatible with Fanatec (use the genuine spacer); some proprietary ecosystems such as MOZA may require the maker's own parts.

Building a sim racing or flight setup

Base, rim and pedals. In a modular setup the wheel base holds the force feedback motor, the rim clips on with a quick release and the pedals connect to the base or by USB. Rims and pedals must suit your base, and the base decides which platforms are supported.

Direct drive. Direct drive bases attach the rim straight to the motor for the most detailed and strongest feedback. They need a rigid cockpit or a strong desk mount.

Load cell pedals. A load cell brake measures pressure, not travel, like a real car. It is the single upgrade that improves lap-time consistency the most.

Setup and use

1. Choose the length.
2. Bolt the spacer between the quick release and the wheel/hub.
3. Tighten evenly and check for play.

Care and maintenance

Check bolts occasionally under high torque.

Shipping

Shipping is free on orders worldwide. Orders are prepared and dispatched within 1–3 business days and typically arrive within 4–8 business days in total, with tracking sent by email. Large items such as cockpits, seats and monitor stands can ship in several boxes, customs or public holidays can occasionally add a few days, and some items ship directly from our supplier.

Returns

You have 14 days from delivery to return the product for a refund, for any reason. It must be new, unused and in its original packaging with all accessories and documents. Contact us at metanexusxr@gmail.com with your order number to start the return.

Warranty

Products bought from our store are covered by a 2-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects. If anything goes wrong, email us your order number and a short description or photo and we will handle the claim with you.
