These adjustable steel side-mount brackets hold a fibreglass bucket seat on your cockpit and let you switch between a reclined formula position and an upright GT position.

Pre-drilled holes fit most fibreglass bucket seats, and high-strength steel keeps the seat secure with a slim profile.

Choosing and building a sim rig

Rigidity first. A cockpit exists so the force your wheel base produces goes into your hands, not into a flexing frame. Direct drive bases need a stiff front mount; aluminium profile rigs (40 mm and 80 mm extrusion with 8 mm slots) are the stiffest and most adjustable, while steel tube rigs are lighter and quicker to assemble.

Driving position. GT position puts you upright with the pedals low; formula position reclines the seat and raises the pedals. Check whether the cockpit, seat bracket and pedal mount allow the position you want.

Plan the extras. Monitor stands, shifter and handbrake mounts, keyboard trays and PC shelves bolt onto most profile rigs. Planning them up front avoids drilling or re-assembling later.

Setup and use

1. Bolt the brackets to the seat's side mounting points.
2. Fix them to the cockpit or seat sliders.
3. Set the angle for formula or GT and tighten.

Care and maintenance

Check bolts regularly, especially on motion rigs.

Large items such as cockpits, seats and monitor stands can ship in several boxes, customs or public holidays can occasionally add a few days, and some items ship directly from our supplier.

Returns

You have 14 days from delivery to return the product for a refund, for any reason. It must be new, unused and in its original packaging with all accessories and documents. Contact us at metanexusxr@gmail.com with your order number to start the return.
