Adjustable recline seat brackets: overview

These adjustable seat brackets let you fit a reclining seat, car seat or office/gaming chair to your sim rig or seat sliders.

The recline adjustment system lets you tune the seat angle for comfort on long racing stints or flights, and extra brackets cover seats with narrow mounting points.

They are made of heavy-duty steel with a black finish and fit our cockpits and most other rigs.

Compatibility

Rigs: NexusRig Classic, Apex, Velocity, Velocity Carbon and GT Hybrid, our aluminium profile cockpits (NexusRig Fortress, Formula Hybrid, Titan, Vanguard, Sprint, Rookie, NexusHaul Truck) and other 8 mm T-slot extrusion rigs, and most other cockpits (check the dimensions).

Seat bottom mounting points 138–350 mm apart; top mounting to sliders or frames 131–291 mm apart.

Choosing and building a sim rig

Rigidity first. A cockpit exists so the force your wheel base produces goes into your hands, not into a flexing frame. Direct drive bases need a stiff front mount; aluminium profile rigs (40 mm and 80 mm extrusion with 8 mm slots) are the stiffest and most adjustable, while steel tube rigs are lighter and quicker to assemble.

Driving position. GT position puts you upright with the pedals low; formula position reclines the seat and raises the pedals. Check whether the cockpit, seat bracket and pedal mount allow the position you want.

Plan the extras. Monitor stands, shifter and handbrake mounts, keyboard trays and PC shelves bolt onto most profile rigs. Planning them up front avoids drilling or re-assembling later.

Setup and use

1. Bolt the brackets to the base of your seat.
2. Bolt the brackets to the sliders or rig.
3. Set the recline angle and tighten.

Shipping

Shipping is free on orders worldwide. Orders are prepared and dispatched within 1–3 business days and typically arrive within 4–8 business days in total, with tracking sent by email. Large items such as cockpits, seats and monitor stands can ship in several boxes, customs or public holidays can occasionally add a few days, and some items ship directly from our supplier.

Returns

You have 14 days from delivery to return the product for a refund, for any reason. It must be new, unused and in its original packaging with all accessories and documents. Contact us at metanexusxr@gmail.com with your order number to start the return.

Warranty

Every new product bought from our store has a 3-year legal guarantee from delivery (1 year for refurbished items). If anything goes wrong, email us your order number and a short description or photo and we will handle the claim with you.
