NexusRig Fortress: overview

The NexusRig Fortress is an aluminium sim rig built on a 200x40 mm profile base – a size that sets a new benchmark for rigidity. It takes any wheel base, with no torque limit, and stays completely still under the strongest direct drive and the heaviest braking.

The extrusion is reversible: show the dual-slot face for a clean, modern look, or turn it to the 5-slot face for maximum mounting points and future expansion.

It comes with the NexusMount V3 wheel system with slider, so changing wheel base later only means changing a plate, and a height-adjustable seat base mount. Fast, tool-free adjustment makes changes quick.

Compatibility

Wheel bases: any – including Simucube, Simagic, Fanatec, MOZA, Asetek, VRS, VNM and Thrustmaster – via the NexusMount V3 system.

Pedals: pre-drilled for the major brands (Heusinkveld, Simagic, Simucube, Fanatec, MOZA, Asetek and more), including inverted pedals with the hybrid plate.

Seats: any side-mount bucket seat or bottom-mount recliner with suitable brackets or sliders.

Choosing and building a sim rig

Rigidity first. A cockpit exists so the force your wheel base produces goes into your hands, not into a flexing frame. Direct drive bases need a stiff front mount; aluminium profile rigs (40 mm and 80 mm extrusion with 8 mm slots) are the stiffest and most adjustable, while steel tube rigs are lighter and quicker to assemble.

Driving position. GT position puts you upright with the pedals low; formula position reclines the seat and raises the pedals. Check whether the cockpit, seat bracket and pedal mount allow the position you want.

Plan the extras. Monitor stands, shifter and handbrake mounts, keyboard trays and PC shelves bolt onto most profile rigs. Planning them up front avoids drilling or re-assembling later.

Setup and use

1. Assemble the 200 mm base and uprights; choose which profile face shows.
2. Fit the NexusMount V3 wheel system and your wheel plate.
3. Fit your pedal mount and seat (with brackets).
4. Set the seat height, wheel slider and pedal position, then tighten.

Care and maintenance

Check bolts after the first week and monthly. Wipe the anodised aluminium with a damp cloth. Keep T-slots clear of debris.

Shipping

Shipping is free on orders worldwide. Orders are prepared and dispatched within 1–3 business days and typically arrive within 4–8 business days in total, with tracking sent by email. Large items such as cockpits, seats and monitor stands can ship in several boxes, customs or public holidays can occasionally add a few days, and some items ship directly from our supplier.

Returns

You have 14 days from delivery to return the product for a refund, for any reason. It must be new, unused and in its original packaging with all accessories and documents. Contact us at metanexusxr@gmail.com with your order number to start the return.

Warranty

Products bought from our store are covered by a 2-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects. If anything goes wrong, email us your order number and a short description or photo and we will handle the claim with you.
