The NexusTension is a dual-channel direct drive seat belt tensioner that adds the one thing wheels, pedals and even motion struggle to give you: sustained body load. It tightens your harness under braking, cornering, acceleration and gear shift jolts, and transmits engine vibration and kerb strikes.
Who it’s for: Drivers and pilots who want G-force feel:
| Force | 200 N per channel, 400 N combined |
|---|---|
| Type | Dual-channel direct drive belt tensioning |
| Safety | Motion-lock compatible, dual-voltage logic, self-test |
| Options | No harness / red 4-point / black 4-point |
| Bracket | Not included (universal bracket sold separately) |
The NexusTension is a dual-channel direct drive seat belt tensioner that adds the one thing wheels, pedals and even motion struggle to give you: sustained body load. It tightens your harness under braking, cornering, acceleration and gear shift jolts, and transmits engine vibration and kerb strikes.
Two 200 N motors give 400 N combined, with dual-channel self-test, voltage protection and motion-lock compatibility for safe use – also alongside motion platforms.
This version comes without the mounting bracket (add our universal tensioner bracket for most cockpits); choose no harness, or a red or black 4-point harness.
Drivers and pilots who want G-force feel:
Two 200 N direct drive motors.
Braking, lateral G, acceleration, traction loss, kerbs, gear shifts, engine vibration.
Positive/negative G, banked turns, turbulence, throttle transitions.
Dual-channel self-test, voltage protection, motion-lock compatible.
Standalone, with motion platforms, and custom projects.
PC with supported racing and flight titles. Works standalone or with motion platforms that support its motion-lock.
Mount with our universal seat belt tensioner bracket on most cockpits with seat brackets or slider rails (not the NexusRig Compact or Formula).
Haptics vs motion. Bass shakers turn engine, road and kerb effects into vibration you feel through the seat and pedals. Motion actuators physically move the rig to simulate pitch, roll and heave. Both add information that helps you feel grip.
Power and software. Shakers need an amplifier and a telemetry app such as SimHub; motion systems come with their own controller and software profiles for each game.
Isolation. Keep screens on a freestanding stand and use isolation feet so vibration and motion stay in the rig and not in the floor or the monitors.
Always start at low force and build up. Check bracket bolts and belt wear regularly.
